Pose One Chair

Inspired by the contact improvisation which is a form of improvised dancing, Pose One chair is created while exploring the act of working jointly.

Relationship between bodies by using the fundamentals of sharing weight, touch, and movement awareness are explored to find possible forms.

Forces flow differently when two people move in coaction and gives a structural hint. Temporary forms are being created while moving and outlines of the body-shape find expression in curves.

Possible shapes of body interactions reveal the sketches of the chair. Pose one is the first object of the upcoming series.
